rinnia: (puzzle)
Walking from Sears to Starbucks, Jaime looked to the side and said, "Is the Boston Market sign on fire?" Sure enough, a small flame was licking up from the "k" in the sign. We told the people in the store below the sign about it (they already knew), and continued on to Starbucks. Right after our drinks were ready, we saw a firetruck pull up, and so we headed outside to watch them put out the fire. It had spread to engulf the whole "k", and was beginning to ignite the "r". We stood wondering what method they'd use to put it out - extend the ladder, climb up, and use an extinguisher perhaps? Instead, they just hoisted out the hose and shot it up high enough to put out the flames.

We've been using "Your k's on fire." as a catchphrase of sorts since. Spread the word!

Cara - we also saw an evil monkey. While walking home, someone drove past us honking rhythmically and waving a stuffed monkey out the driver's side window. I thought of you. :)

If you want to get a Wii - go to Target and find a price scanner. Using the numbers next to the screen, type in 207250001. An information screen will come up for the Nintendo Wii, and one line will say "In Stockroom:" and then "Yes" or "No". When it said Yes for me, I asked the guy in the Electronics Department if they had any Wii's. He said no. Confused, I then asked a different Target employee if those things were accurate as to what's in the stockroom, and he confirmed that they are. He then went back and got me one. :) So, if the thing says Yes, point it out! You'll end up leaving with a Wii.

And now, the only proper finish to a post this random: brand new lyrics game!
1. Look at all the songs you have that start with the first letter of your first name.
2. Pick out ten of them and think about the lyrics.
3. Post your favorite line from each.
And now, you all get to guess. Enjoy!
