Fuel for the fangirl fire.
So. Persona 3 manga. Love Hotel mission. Akihiko remembering his encounter with a teammate.
There are, of course, two ways to interpret this:
1. The Rational Way: Akihiko was distraught by the fact that his male friend tried to seduce him while under the influence of the shadow and looks back on the experience with a shudder.
2. The Awesome Way: Though he reacted in the only way he could think of on such short notice - a fist to the face - Akihiko is unnerved by how much the situation turned him on. It may or may not have struck him that Junpei dolled himself up and made a much more valiant effort to be suave with Akihiko than he has with any of the ladies he proclaims to love so much. All signs point to a subconscious attraction on Junpei's part, and a vaguely conscious one on Akihiko's.
The Bonus Way!: The punch was just foreplay. They totally did it after that.
Edit: I just noticed that Akihiko has his shirt off too. Hot. I also realized that, judging from the way Junpei jumps and gets a subsequent punch, in this little homage, Akihiko is Fujiko. Bwahahaha. Perfect.
I do sometimes wonder at how much glee this pairing brings me. Oddly snawesome stuff.
