I was just working on the seven interests meme, had written well over a thousand words, and my stupid fucking browser interpreted my backspace - not the first one in this writing session, mind you, just one of many - as a command to go back a page. The livejournal autosave saved only the first hundred words. DAMNIT.

Aw man, that sucks!

If you're using Firefox, you can turn off that "feature" by
1. typing "about:config" in the url bar
2. find the entry "browser.backspace_action"
3. change the value from 0 to 1

I've gotten bitten by this before, hope that helps.
