so... erik and his friends have started collecting and battling these little things called beyblades. they're like battle-tops, and they have all sorts of different tips, weights, attack rings, etc.

i finally caved and bought two.

erik has four, and a battle stadium, but lo and behold, i have emerged as the best launcher, and thus, my babies almost always win. *grins* oh yes, it is that fun.

Nobody remembers where the original idea for spinning madness action came from, and no, it wasn't CROSSFIRE!!! It was these cool little dudes called Spinjas, a delightful merge of coriolish crazyness and neat looking figures. Not all of them were ninjas, though, some of them were cool little knights and snakes and stuff. Uhhhhm, yeah. Haha, I'm starting to feel like a geezer for remembering this stuff.
