so far, so good.
i anticipate my grades to be as such:
bio: c or b
physics: a or b
math: a or b
astronomy: b
japanese: a
gym: pass
not too shabby, if i say so myself. 'tis a hard school.
outside of schoolwork, life's been pretty good. jaime and i have been cooking lately, and watching sealab and sifl & olly. good stuffs.
talked to mom on the phone for an hour early, which was nice, since i hadn't really done that in a while. i'm a bit jealous of my friends who are already out of school and home, and a bit happy i'm still at this home. i feel... torn, i guess. kinda squidgy in the stomach. but its alright, since i'm lucky enough to have both places. i'd rather have this problematic feeling than give up one of them.
jon's family came to visit, and they arrived earlier. they took us all out for thai, which was nice, both because his parents are very nice people and i enjoyed talking to his dad, and because they were kind enough to pay for us, which was a relief to my "starving student" wallet. his brother was eerily quiet, though. ah well. his mom and dad were nice enough to make up for it. i'll have to remember to ask him what their names are...
after dinner, cathy, jaime, jon, and steve, and i all went down to the sac arcade and played ddr. some people were there when we got there, but they left after one round, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. with all the playing time, and a coffeehouse break to get milkshakes and a calzookie, we ended up spending three and a half hours down there.
now my legs are sore, my throat's a bit dehydrated, and i'm exhausted, but it was totally worth it. for a day, we blew off work, and damn it felt good. now i have cookies and milk to munch, a boy who i'm quite fond of by my side, and tons of cartoons to keep me entertained until i fall asleep.
today was a success.
