Thanksgiving was quite pleasant. Jaime accompanied me home, and everyone got along much better than I anticipated. Erik *really* took a liking to him, and Jaime liked him as well, which was greater. Even more impressive was the fact that he and mom got along swimmingly. I was expecting tolerance at best on both of their parts, but they seemed to like each other just fine. I am filled with joy and bounciness at this.
We played Katamari Damacy, which is one of the niftiest games I've ever seen. I want to make a katamari big enough to pick up a sumo wrestler. I must!
I'm thinking of making a Christmas list soon, since many items are orderable and thus require delivery time. Hopefully Mom will read this soon enough. *grins*
Oh yes, and Jimmy Eat World shirt? Please survive. I love you more than any other shirt, and I need you. Listening to Futures just seems so empty without you sometimes. Please don't leave me.
Finally, on a serious note, two people deserve hugs. One for the horrible crap she had to put up this weekend, and the other for reasons that he knows. Both of you, *hug*. You write that letter, and you hang in there. There's always brightness - you just have to look for it sometimes.
