What to say...
I'm sitting here trying to think of something to say, just because this lj deserves an update. Ummm...
Oh! Jaime's started playing Double Dash!! It's quite entertaining, if I do say so myself. And, hmmm... Steve and I are building a single-stage transmission for ME71. We spent a considerable portion of the day today (read: over 4 hours) down in the shop working. We've made two gears (toothless, but with belt grooves) and fasteners for said gears to hook them onto the bars. It's pretty awesome. I gotta tell you, I like mills much better than lathes. The precision stuff is quite neat. Plus, I seem to be the only student who knows how to load the collets(sp?) properly. 'Tis quite energizing.
... But not anymore. Now I'm just goddamn tired. I shall do my Chem prelab for tomorrow, then head to bed.
Tomorrow's game plan:
Wake up
Try once more to get this metal grease smell off of me
ME71 lecture
Get some lunch
Chem Lab
Studying for ME35
Dinner
ME35 midterm
Reading? Silent Hill 4? Something in the gothic-y genre, probably.
Ahhh, free time. Maybe I'll head to the gym. 'Twould be nice to exercise outside of my room. And for the record? Home DDR pads are kinda slippery, on the floor, I mean. It'd be nice if I could step in the same place each time to hit an arrow. Ah well.
