I ended up going back to the Emergency Room yesterday, as the Amoxicillin didn't seem to be doing anything. I left with three new prescriptions: Ciprofloxacin tablets, Floxin ear drops, and 20 more Vicodin. I don't think I'll need all the painkillers, however, as upon awakening today, my ear cleared just the slightest bit, and my pain is greatly lessened. Here's hoping it stays this painless and keeps on clearing until it's normal.
