The unpopular opinion.
Okay, Livejournal is indeed a private company, but they do claim to respect Freedom of Speech, and so I think it's worth saying:
Freedom of Speech means exactly what it sounds like it does - you are free to say whatever you choose.
This means that if someone wants to expound on their attraction to young girls, they are free to do so. You are free to not listen, and they cannot force you to, but by the same token, you can't take away their freedoms.
Of course, there is a line somewhere. Children should not be abused or subjected to sexual predators. But words are words, and fiction is fiction, and sometimes? A livejournal interest is just a livejournal interest.
I don't know where I'm going with this whole spiel, other than to point out that freedom of speech doesn't apply to only what you want to hear. In fact, if people want to hear it, it doesn't need much protecting at all, does it?
