i just got back the result from the national council of english teachers writing contest. i was one of three nominated students from my high school, and now, i'm one of the four winners from the state of nevada! w00t!
*kisses the form* this, alongside a top 10% finish in the nevada prize math exam, is going to look sweet on my caltech app.
which needs to be in by november 1. O.o;;; but let's not stress now, ne? of course not.

i just hope my app will be good enough to get me into caltech... they take in less than 300 freshmen. *bites her fingernails* but i'm fairly confident that i will make it, and hey - stuff like this can't hurt! *grins*
