rinnia | My little girl is home!

We called around 8am and got the okay to come and pick up Stitch. My poor baby clung to me soooo tight when they brought her into the room, and her front right leg is all hairless (shaved for the IV) and bruised (she keeps gnawing at it). She's very tired, and a little bit weak, but was acting like her usual fiesty self in the room with Odie. They're both snoozing in their hammock now, curled up together. I was planning on keeping her isolated, but I can't bear to separate them. From the time I picked her up, I spent 7 hours straight observing her - watching her eat, drink, sleep, everything.

She really is like herself again, and I'm so happy. I'll have to write that hospital a beaming thank you note.
