Sooo, life is mostly uneventful, but kinda crappy.
ME19 is so very confusing, and we're supposed to write a program to give us velocity potential, velocity, and pressure at some given point in a flow around a sharp 90 degree bend. Sure, we can use Matlab, and this should make things a little easier on Little Miss I-Don't-Know-Any-Programming, but it means that I need to figure out Matlab. Beautiful.
Someone doesn't seem to be doing much on our engine. I spent over 24 hours working on it last week, many of them machining in the shop, and he made an appearance... once? Maybe twice? I dunno, he doesn't appear to do anything except remake Solidworks models far more than necessary and press bearings into holes that should be slip-fit and set-screwed. To top it off, the dust down there is doing a number on my asthma. I skipped shop today to give my lungs a break. I do feel better, and I'd probably be perfect if I had another day or two off, but I absolutely must be in there tomorrow. Jinkies.
Fortunately, Jaime and I will be heading to Reno Thursday morning for food, fun, and family.
