It just fucking figures.
Though I stayed up until 4:30am doing my ME19 set, I only had one class today, thankfully. So I get back to the room after lunch, and having nothing to do, I decide to watch my video of Squall and Rinoa's limit breaks and plan sitely stuff. I put the tape in, and I notice the sound is kinda funky, but I figure it's just a crappy VCR, so whatever. When I go to eject it, it suddenly makes a sound like it's rewinding, and the TV shuts off. Now, everytime I turn it on, it lasts for about 5 seconds, trying to eject the whole time, but shutting off again.
I can't fucking believe this. The boys back in Reno have three TVs in their room, with a DVD player, and I've had the crappy combo TV/VCR I got in 7th grade. Now it breaks, and I don't even have money for food this weekend, let alone to fix it or get a new one. The game systems sit there all useless now, with nothing to play them on. I know, I know, it's a very bratty thing to whine about. I mean, I do have game systems - that's luxury right there. But still. It's very very frustrating.
And now my FF8 tape is dead too, which means I'll have to record a new one at some point. Hopefully my crappy memory card won't have corrupted all my FF8 files by then. It's already corrupted three of them, after all. *sighs*

I knew a guy who would record his fights in Kingdom Hearts (Sephiroth, mainly) and study them. If I had a VCR, I probably wouldn't do that. Sounds cool, though. Relive the arse kicking. *thumbs up*
