Of Florida, snakes, and games.
I am pleased to inform you that the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Graduate Admission/Recruiting Committee has recommended that you be approved for direct admission to our Graduate program.
Yay, I'm gonna go to Florida! UF likes me!
In other news, we named our snake Slinky. We got him this bonsai tree thing at Petsmart that has three different holes in the base to climb through, a nice dark inside with lots of little nooks and crannies to hide in, multiple little branches for climbing, and soft plastic plants at the top. It took him a while to explore it, but as soon as he found it, he climbed all the way to the top and stretched up high enough to touch the screen top of his cage. Later, he explored the inside, and I looked over just in time to see a little head pop out of a hole, and then retreat again. When we went to turn off his black light and go to bed, he was curled up sleeping - on TOP of the tree! He nestled himself in among the plastic leaves, curled up, and fell asleep. He's still up there this morning, snoozing away. Adorable.
The Petsmart is reachable by Metro for us, and is in the middle of a little shopping "village". We had dinner at Togo's, which I am convinced is the best sandwich place ever, and stopped in at the Gamestop next door. My grandpa gave me a $100 gift card for Christmas, so we snapped up Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and Kirby: Squeak Squad. Jaime's playing Kirby right now. I *would* be playing Castlevania, but my battery died and I can't find the charger. Yargh. Gotta be somewhere.
I've been thinking about games I started but never finished. So. Here's my grand plan game schedule:
Finish FFXII. Then:
Final Fantasy III
Dragon Quest VIII
Vagrant Story
Dragon Quest VII
Lunar 2
Fullmetal Alchemist 2
Final Fantasy IV
KH2 side quests!
Parasite Eve
Final Fantasy V
Xenosaga ep.1
Tales of Symphonia
.hack//infection, mutation, outbreak
Some crazy action-y stuff - Onimusha, Zone of the Enders, Resident Evil 4
That's the tentative plan for now. The only thing on there that I don't already own is RE4, which is not too expensive, and I could really pick up at any time for GC with no problems.
Do I have any real reason for using this avatar? No, I do not. Just feeling the Mello love.
