Weasely timeline.

This post on ferretpix got me thinking about how my babies have changed physically as they've gotten older. I came up with a couple good comparisons, and thought I'd share them here.

Stitch: female hooded chocolate at <1 year and >4 years

Odie: male sable at <1 year and >4 years

Some of the coloration differences are just due to different lighting, but you can still see the changes. Stitch's are very subtle - her undercoat's gotten more blonde, her whiskers are a bit paler, and she has a little more weight to her now. Odie, on the other hand, changed colors noticeably. He started out hooded, but now has a distinct stretch of white between his mask and neck, and overall has lightened up greatly to where you can really see the auburn undercoat. He's even gained salt and pepper whiskers.

It's funny, actually. Everyone used to have trouble telling them apart, but now, even though their colors are far more similar, they've developed such strong personalities that you can name them easily from a room away.
