Augh, WHY?!
Tickets to RENT are $24 for Techers. Unfortunately, the show's in Thousand Oaks, which is 45 miles away. If only we had a car... *cries*
There's an adorable necklace set at Target that I've had my eye on for a while (thiiiiiis one), but I couldn't bring myself to spend the cash. Jaime finally convinced me to go for it, and the only set left has a broken chain. I've been checking every time we go to see if there are new ones in stock, but there's still only the broken set. I really hope they get another shipment soon... Also, while looking at that site, I discovered this "Homigod, I luffs it!" piece: clicky! Out of stock, but I'm gonna keep an eye on that page.
I demoed my addsub.abl today (only 2 weeks late, go me!) and it worked, which made me squee a little bit. Unfortunately, that was quickly counterbalanced by the intense writer's block I've got going with my surrealism piece right now. I love the concept I came up with, and I love the character I'm developing, but I just... I can't get it to flow right. Urgh.
BUT! Tomorrow shall be awesome. Jaime and I are gonna start off the day right by going to Comics Factory for Free Comic Book Day, then go see Aqua Teen again, this time with Cathy and Jon in tow. Finally, in observance of Cinco de Mayo, we're gonna get some Tequila and a bucket of Margarita mix, and put a dent in Pasadena's salt supply. Branola Hovse members are welcome to join us - we could probably even make some virgin ones for the abstainers.
