Interests
baz luhrmann movies: Baz Luhrmann is the director who made Strictly Ballroom, Romeo + Juliet, and Moulin Rouge, all of which I adore. He has a great sense for lush visuals that feel surreal but not unreal, and his works are always focused on love. I'm always up for a Luhrmann film.
indigo: In my opinion, indigo is not only the most underappreciated color of the rainbow, but also the most beautiful. I love blue, and to a lesser extent red, and so when you combine a great deal of blue with a spattering of red, the results are amazing.
profanity: People are so silly. Tuck is an okay word, as is fun, but fuck? Oh, that's naughty - you can't say that. It's a word! It's a simple combination of letters that has its own special place in vocabulary, just like any other. Many people are anti-profanity, so someone's gotta take up the slack and be pro-profanity, just to balance the scales. May as well be me, goddamnit.

trouble (slival): Slival is a villain from the game Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. He's not really a bad guy, though - just Rocket's, er, rival. In the end, they join forces to fight the real evil. Despite my love for Rocket and his adorable flautist skills, I always kinda like Slival's toughness and attitude. Thus, when Slival comes bouncing into the picture? Waaaaaatch for trouble.
OMGWTF!: Bwahaha.antigonist is responsible for this one, and it's one of only two userpics I have that weren't made by me. I've met quite a few people who didn't catch the truth about Sephiroth's lineage in FFVII, and even some that misread it the way that's joked at in this pic. Plus, Sephiroth's expression always makes me giggle.
sweatdrop (Yukari and Tomo): Azumanga Daioh is the funniest series I've ever watched. This clip is from the first or second episode - the girl out in the hallway is Tomo, a total spaz who forced herself to hold buckets of water outside of the classroom as punishment for being late. While Yukari is trying to teach, Tomo starts shouting random nonsense and topples over, buckets of water and all. Cracks me up every time, and that makes it worthy of iconage for me.
