I don't trust anyone who says she's a fan of Friendly Hostility, but spells Collin as "Colin".

I don't trust anyone who says Skwisgaar/Toki is her OTP, but spells the former's name as "Skwisgarr".

I don't trust anyone who says Chernabog's his favorite cartoon villain, but spells it as "Chernobog".

I don't trust anyone who claims to be in love with Squall, but thinks his last name is "Lionheart" instead of "Leonhart".

These are all obvious and unforgivable sins. They are so many more I could name, but I'll limit myself to these two very simple and canon proven statements:

L never trusts Light.

Rinoa is not Ultimecia.

Fandom - stop being so dumb. Thank you.

Yeah, the Light/L thing never made sense to me, and I always thought I was pretty bad about slashing lots of characters. I'm pretty sure it's one of the most unlikely pairings I've ever heard of. The OMGHAWTNESS!11!!!! is all it has going for it, and is likely the reason most fangirls support it. Now, Mello/Near, on the other hand...

I finished it a few weeks ago. But I only know of the pairing from the hype-- I've yet to venture into the fandom. (I did really like it, for the record.

To be fair, I think they see it more as angsty powerplay sex rather than TRU LUV. Or...yeah, I don't know, it doesn't really make sense.

The problem with Mello/Near is that it's just not as hot. Really, how can you resist that face?
