If you're playing the game Overlord, you may want to check out a guide online before you go any further. From what I've heard (courtesy of my brother's frustration), there's a certain order you have to do some things in, or it glitches and ruins your game. Like, you can't progress or something like that. Scary.
As far as my gaming ventures go, I've put 118 hours in FFXII, have Basch up to level 61 and equipped with the Zodiac Spear, and have everyone else at least to level 56. Oh, plus Balthier, Fran, Basch, and Ashe have every license, and Vaan and Penelo are close. I could finish it at any time, but instead have been kicking around, gathering espers and hunting marks. It's getting really difficult - I may just cave and finish it off to see how it ends if I get stuck on something. Compelling story, after all.
Thanks to Gamestop's summer sale, I picked up the first Phoenix Wright game, which I finished in three days and love to pieces, and Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. I also grabbed Resident Evil 4 for the Wii from Toys R Us, which I've only put an hour or so into, as I died once and got pouty. I read online that many people consider it not too hard, but they also said they died a lot at certain parts. I tend to get frustrated when I die at all in a game, so it's going to take all my restraint to push forward with this one. Hopefully it'll be worth it.
Adult Swim is showing Fullmetal Alchemist again, and it's been long enough that I'm okay with watching it again. This'll be my fifth or sixth time through. I gotta say, it's fantastic every single time. Gah, much love.
Much love for the final volume of Death Note, as well. I love the official translation for Near's dialogue. I read it earlier today and couldn't help but smiiiiiiiiiiiile. He's just such a great character.
Anyone know of a good way to score "Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan"? I doubt I'll have the money for it anytime soon, but for future reference I was wondering if anyone had ordered it successfully and for not too much cash. I'm feeling the rhythm game cravings, and my GH controllers haven't arrived in FL yet.
