rinnia | Odd how melancholy this makes me.

I'm loving Persona 3, wanting Odin Sphere, and just now realizing that the PS2 era will be ending. There have been so many amazing games on the PS2, and there continue to be great ones released on a regular basis. It doesn't feel like an out-of-date console. It doesn't feel like it's slowing down. Where will these beautiful games go when the PS2's out of the question? 360? PS3? I can only hope stuff will shift to the Wii, as the PS3's too spendy for my blood, and the 360's too... well... Gatesy to buy (unless I cave and get one secondhand. I hate the controller so much, though).

I wish all the games I want would come out for either the PS2 or the DS. Wii's acceptable as well, but those two are hands down my favorite consoles to play on. Ah well. At least I'll get my wish for DQIX.
