first off,
yes, i do want to get a degree in aeronautical engineering. yes, i do want to work for nasa. yes, i do want to be an astronaut. yes, i did have heart-wrenching talks with my best friend, boyfriend, and mother today.
and yes, i am still determined.
if i die in an explosion, at least it will be for my cause; morbid, but it's how i feel. also, this is only the second nasa shuttle explosion - that's still safer than a car, one of which i ride in every day. it is tragic, and i feel the pain. i'm not going to lie and say that it didn't shake me; of course i am scared. but the dream and the thrill of my passion outweighs that.
in short, look for me on mars. i'm still planning on it.
