Day 01 - Your first video game
In actuality, it must have been something on ColecoVision, but I cannot for the life of me remember any specifics outside of how much I loved the numbers on the controller (and the crazy colored buttons on our Super Action Controller), so I'm going with my first true video game love - Dragon Warrior. I saw my mom killing slimes, and by god, I had to try it. I then slashed my way through slimes and drakees until I strayed too far from the path and ran into scorpions. And I died. And I cried for an hour about how I sucked at games (except I wasn't allowed to say "suck", so I probably said I was no good at games) until my mom showed me that I could reload my save as many times as I wanted. Screw you, Mario! I'm all descendent-of-Erdrick up in this house.
