got back from vegas last night. we got second place in science bowl. again. just like last year.
austin and i were about ready to cry. we were both on the team last year, and it happened exactly the same way. double elimination - we lost once, fought through the losers' bracket, beat the undefeated team once, and then they beat us for the win.
ouch. we hugged, and congratulated each other on at least not dropping from last year's place. but still...
*sighs* stupid a-tech. hitting on blair and me, and sending us to the losers' bracket. at least clark won, not them, and they were nice about it. not poor sports like a-tech. *pulls down eyelid and sticks out tongue*

Had a crush on a teacher? - a full-fledged crush? i've certainly thought a couple were hot, and this one sub in seventh grade was amazingly cute.

Had a New Kids on the Block tape? - nope, but i did have hanson ones
Been on stage? - since i was four
Cut your own hair? - day before kindergarten started. from my waist up to my chin. momie was not pleased.

Hair Colour? - i really do like purple, but sandy colors like dirty blonde and light brown are very cute on guys too. for me? natural with red streaks, or deep violet.

Fave Food? - tuna sashimi
Fave movie(s)? - moulin rouge, nightmare before christmas, dogma
Fave Ice Cream? - mint from coldstone
Fave 'normal' drink? - virgin pina colada. or cherry 7-up.
Fave Person to talk to on-line? - i don't talk much, but when i do, whoever it is is the favorite of the moment
Fave alcoholic drink? - not big on alcohol. sorry.

Cried? - slightly, at the a-tech loss. i was too sad to cry at the clark one.
Worn a skirt? - nah, our uniform was khakis and the team polo shirt
Met someone new? - yeah, tons, and saw a few i hadn't seen for a year
Cleaned your room? - *laughs*
Done Laundry? - *laughs harder*
Driven a Car? - *chokes from lack of oxygen*

Tooth Fairy? - *nods gravely* and little woodland creatures help her carry all the teeth and silver dollars.

Angels? - my derek. seriously, i'm not sure. perhaps in an abstract sense of the word, not the golden harps and feathered wings way
Ghosts? - the soul is far too precious to simply dissipate into nothingness after death
Karma? - *thinks back* yeah, i do. i've seen it happen a couple times where someone truly got what they deserved.
UFO's? - not necessarily flying saucers. aliens though? absolutely. we're conceited if we think we're the only ones inhabiting the entire universe.
