merry [insert random non- or uber-denominational celebration here]!

ah, so yes, merry christmas eve to all who celebrate it! if you do not, just have a good evening anyway. *^_^*

so. i got my grades in the mail. *bounces happily* all passes, and thanks to pass/fail, that's the best i could have done. no more math1a, even if it was section 1! *dances*

mom and i did some brief shopping for the sibs and the joe. we are quite pleased with ourselves. i spent the day at her office with her, watching cartoons and forcing her to listen to j-pop. to be fair, i only have "real emotion" from tentwo, so there wasn't much j-pop to go around. but it was enough. heh.

after she got off, we ran by petco and got gifties for my freet!loves. we bought a stuffed squeaky slipper with a fleece interior and some mini tennis balls for them to share and a multi-colored plush chick with a purple belly for odie, as he loves birds and purple for some reason. mom's going to fix booda's rip tonight, so we can put it in the stocking as the gift for stitch. she loves that little stuffed terry cloth lion cub, and she'll be quite happy to have him back, i'm sure. i may just wrap the presents, if for no other reason than to watch the paper fly when the ferrets get ahold of them.

for our final stop, we went to get joe from work. i found a red reflector flood light bulb for only $1 and fell in love with it. mom pointed out that i didn't have anything to put it in, so i scrounged around in the sales bins somemore until i found a simple holder with a spike for lawn installation for only $1.40. mom then brought my utter lack of money to my attention. i found two quarters in my pocket, and mom gave me a handful of random change. joe offered a quarter to cover tax, and i purchased the floodlight holder and bulb with only 13 cents to spare.

*flashes her red light at mom and joe* so now i can stop intruders and yell, "halt, who goes there?!" *is very pleased with herself*

and now, finally, i am home. mom and joe are making appetizers for tomorrow, which will also make up our dinner for tonight. mmm, crab-stuffed mushrooms, teropita, and deviled eggs... so yes, i am content. i have much love for all, and much food to be eaten. thus, i bid you all a fond farewell for this evening.

*sends politically correct, non-exclusive holiday love to all*
