my back kinda hurts.
so so so many things going on at once. good things, of course, but still. mixed emotions, and lots of hope. plus, material things are good. sims 2, w00t! i know cheats already, so those that i don't want to struggle and eventually die won't. i like the idea of that a lot.
i had a bunch of things i wanted to say, but i can't remember most of them. let's see...
i disapprove of certain things, but love the person/people involved regardless. it still makes me sigh, though.
went shopping with mom and the boys today. it wasn't as raucous as i thought it would be. i got four pairs of $2 sandals with woven grass bottoms. so nifty! i also got some shimmery melon-flavored lip gloss, which makes me ooh and ahh and make silly faces in the mirror. yes, i am almost twenty. can't you tell?
oh, and on the way out of the store, i decided it would be a good idea to check out the arcade area with the boys. of course, i couldn't resist the ddr solo machine, even if my sandals slipped all over the place. also of course, when i saw that the machine had hysteria, i couldn't resist playing it on heavy, even though i didn't have my inhaler with me. the resulting asthma attack and scolding by my mother weren't fun, but the actual playing definitely made up for it. i love that one, and it's the only eight-foot song i can pass. show-off, me? nah...
ah, now i remember! the movie! cam and i went to see resident evil: apocalypse yesterday, and it was better than i expected. i mean, not oscar-material, but did you expect it to be? jill valentine should've been a bit blonder and slightly less, well, suave and badass, and i really would've liked it if one of the redfields had showed up at some point. nemesis, however, was done per-fucking-fectly, which nearly made me squeal like the fangirly that i am. i really liked how they made him into a strangely sympathetic character, but still didn't pull punches about what he was - a physical monster. i only wish that he'd said "s.t.a.r.s." more often.
