derek was working today, so chrissy and i hit the mall. we listened to stephen sing "yesterday" after sucking down helium, hugged the mont-ass and talked briefly about a lost ferret from the pet store, and best of all, i put $4 into a claw machine and walked away the proud owner of a ferret plushie.
no joke. i named him carpet shark, or chalk, in some sort of weird abbreviation. *huggles him*
after work, derek joined the shenanigans! yay! no, actually we just hung out for a while, then had dinner with chrissy and her folks and played some rummy afterwards with her and stephen. derek and i then proceeded home, where he has kindly been playing parasite eve for me while i watch and cuddle carpet shark.
life is good. i guess. *nodnod* yeah.
