One of Erik's hamsters is still alive, and I think he's lost the will to live.
Kuriboh is kinda old, don't get me wrong. The five other hamsters have all passed on to the great wheel in the sky. It just makes me sad that Kuriboh is left here alone. Though he never met Hamtaro, he did live with his mom Magus, sister Baby, and two brothers Bandit and Limozeen (twin runts) when he was very young. The seven other babies (they all survived!) we gave away to friends and the pet store. When ours got older, we separated the boys and the girls, so Kuriboh lived with Bandit and Limozeen, and the three of them were sweet, energetic, and inseparable. Now that the other two have passed, Kuriboh doesn't play any more. He never runs in his wheel, just lays in it and sleep all day. I don't think he's even eating. I know he's old, and I know he's just a hamster, but it's so sad to see him... grieve like this.
Poor little guy. What else can I do, but talk to him and know he'll be with his brothers someday?
