Lush us.
Finished filming the house video earlier today, which gave me a bit of a headache. Falling down repeatedly hurts, even if it is onto a mattress. One way or another, my tragic death scene has been captured, and my role in the movie-making process is done. Once the video's all edited and complete, I'll post a link to the finished product. Jaime pumped up the tires on our bikes earlier, and I encountered a bit of unexpected trouble. To begin with, my bike's brakes, which had been tightened at the shop earlier, were a bit too tight with the newly enlarged tires, and so we had to loosen them a little. Even after that was fixed, however, there was a strange whirring sound emanating from the back wheel. We discovered that one of the screws used to faster the rear fender to the bike stuck out too far into the wheel's space and was scraping against the expanded tire's face. Jaime fashioned special washers for it out of pennies that he put holes in with a hand drill, and lo and behold, no more noise! Beautiful.
After all that trouble, we went to a Lush party, where I made out like a little hippy bandit. Seriously. Jaime's even begun to take an interest in the products, and we purchased a Blue Skies bubble bar just for him. Yay for patchouli-scented boyfriends! I walked out of the Lush with:

And now, I have Adult Swim to watch, a "funfetti" cake waiting to be frosted, and... well... a progress report to write for my SURF, but that's not fun, so I'll instead focus on the Jaime that smells like cinnamon and peppermint. Remind me to buy a full bar of that Wiccy Magic Muscle stuff - awesome smell.
