Halloween: The Breakdown
Alright, after LJ-comment-chatting with Cathy, I started thinking about the best way to split up roles from Rent for the members of Branola Hovse. I took some really quick caps from La Vie Boheme (since that scene is the very very best and has awesome costumes), and made this informative chart:

The roles may not be perfect, but they're surprisingly close, personality wise. I'm pleased with this plan. *hand rubbing*
Edit (4:09am): As always, I'm having issues falling asleep, so to let my mind relax, I started thinking up how to make these costumes work:
Steve: Mark
Blue and red sweater - sew
Brown pants - buy/find
Brown shoes - buy/find
Geek glasses! - buy/find
Jon: Roger
Black undershirt - buy/find
Leather necklace with bead - construct
Army green button-up shirt - buy
Loose-fit jeans - buy/find
Brown shoes - buy/find
Cathy: Mimi
Short-sleeved purple peasant dress - sew
Blue tie-front sweatshirt - sew
Wide black belt - buy
Ripped stockings - buy
High-heeled shoes - buy/find
Alex: Angel
Green/orange/yellow sweater - sew
White skirt with flower print - sew/buy and paint
Green printed tights - buy
Black platform shoes - own 'em!
Jaime: Collins
Long-sleeved white undershirt - buy/find
Denim button-up shirt - buy
Red/black plaid shirt - buy
Black cap - buy
Black jeans - buy/find
Shoes - buy/find
I think those could be doable... still need to convince Jaime, of course, and propose the idea to Steve and Jon. We need to dress up this year, though - it's our last year together! We just gotta.
And now, once more I will attempt to sleep.
