El dia de los muertos!

My left eye hurts for some reason. Damnation.

Also? I am looking forward greatly to Day of the Dead festivities in Spanish. I love all them creepy celebrations.

I came to the saddening realization the other day that there's no way I'll have the time and/or money to make the Rent Halloween costumes happen, especially since I've heard nothing from Antonsson, and so I'm assuming the 72 TA thing fell through. After moping about this for a while, Jaime and I saw a commercial on TV for the rerelease of TNBC on the big screen - in 3-D! This was the first I'd heard of it, and immediately I felt the desire to indulge in my favorite flick larger than life and just as deep. There are some showings on Halloween, and since we're not spending anything on costumes this year, we bought two tickets. So. Noon on the 31st, I'll be rocking the 3-D shades to "This is Halloween" in LA's El Capitan theater. Ripley's has a place nearby, and I'm considering making a stop there in the morning before the showing. Make a halfday of it, maybe, up in LA. Jaime'd like to find the Fashion District, which sounds fun to me as well, and look for tasty fabrics. All in all, it could be just the thing to lighten up the term.

You know what else lightens up the term? Finding out that you'll be able to *underload* for the last term of your senior year.

Check it out, folks. After this term, I'll need two more grad-level courses, an advanced social science, and E10, in addition to requiring an overall 57 units to graduate. So, next term, I'm planning on taking CDS110b, MS115b, some advanced political science, E10, and Spanish. This is a total of 40 units and fulfills all my option requirements, leaving me with 17 general units to complete third term. A full load is 36-51.

So! Third term plan? Spanish, CDS104, Cooking, Ceramics, and Painting, for a total of 25 units. Underload petition for ultimate win, and I have myself a nice empty term of few sets, lots of artistic indulgences, and plenty of time to build a stack and a few fansites. Hell, I could even drop CDS104 to eliminate all sciencey stuff and have 19 units - still enough to graduate. Aaaaaawesooooooooooome.

It's all kinda falling together now. So glad I pushed myself freshman and sophomore year - it was definitely worth it for the slack-term this year. Yaaaaaaay.
