*stomps around* The second arc is awesome, Near is awesome, Mello is awesome, and everyone needs to stop with the haaaaaaating! Honestly, I don't understand why everyone hates the second arc so much. I get the reasoning behind the whole "Bwah, I hates you Near!!!11!1!!" thing, even if I think it's dumb, but hate for the entire second arc? For chapters 59-108? Are you really a fan of the series if you hate an entire half of it?
... Granted, it's not an entire half of the anime. Somehow, they're going to cram all those chapters into episodes 27-37. I dunno. They're gonna shortchange Near, just like everyone else does. Mrrrrrrgh.
Also, why the Matt fangirling? It's like Zack fangirls from FFVII fandom - you really know very little about him! Why the obsession? Sigh.
