I fixate on fandom because the RG is too complicated.

Let's hit four fandoms now, shall we?

Final Fantasy:
I was surfing through TVTropes earlier (Don't click it! You'll waste your life!) and discovered a pretty nice fanvideo - Dead Fantasy I. It pits Final Fantasy girls against Dead or Alive girls and is nothing but fighting, but said fighting is BadAss. Seriously, it merits those capital letters. The sequel is even better, though I may be biased due to who ends up being the coolest of them all. Hee.

Neon Genesis Evangelion:
Every time I fangirl over Kaworu, Jaime just looks at me and says, "Matt." Okay, okay, so Kaworu's in the series for a very short amount of time, but but but he's important! And there for proportionally way longer. And is actually a character. To make myself feel like less of a hypocrite, I reread the manga, and now my stomach hurts. Oh Eva, why do you hurt me so? All I want to do is love you. The new movie series seems to be mixing bits from the manga into the anime - case in point, Kaworu made an appearance reminiscent to a scene from the manga in the first film, which is waaaaaaay earlier than his entrance in the anime. I'm kinda hoping they'll stick mostly to anime canon, as I prefer that one a bit, but at the same time, I'm kinda hoping they'll jack up Kaworu's screen time and this scene will make it in. All I'm sure of is that the next movie needs to come out soon. Like, now. I'll wait right here.

Persona 3:
Speaking of rereading manga, I've been through all the translated chapters of the P3 one about a dozen times, and I'm falling hard for one character in particular. RYOJI. I always liked him, but his scenes in the manga just get to me. Oh, and the strip card game with Yukari made me crack up. Their all-out attack, Junpei's dramatic hat removal, the inclusion of KENJIOMGILOVEYOUSOMUCHKENJI! Ahem. Honestly, I think the extra little happy scenes in the manga make certain plot points hurt even more. I sort of hate knowing what's going to happen. The dread never goes away. On the plus side, it's pretty canon in the manga that everyone wants to tap Minato:

Really, though, who wouldn't?

The World Ends With You:
In a rare case of unbridled awesome, Square has the translated manga intro to TWEWY up on their site. It includes zetta intense ramen eating, cross-dressing, and quick cameos by pretty much every important character from the whole game. Check out Joshua's brief appearance:

His timing's just impeccable, no?
