so. today started out fairly uneventful. i woke up at a decently late hour, showered, and went to lunch with jaime. things got a little more interesting after lunch when the printer decided to lose contact with my laptop halfway through printing the chem quiz. i couldn't go check the printer connections, as the quiz material was exposed since the back cover sheet hadn't printed yet, and i wouldn't want to break honor code. instead, cathy and i trekked down to the ruddock computer lab and attempted to print out our quizzes there. the computer i chose decided to not connect to that printer either, but thankfully cathy's worked and she printed out two copies.

then we took said quiz. it wasn't bad at all. i think the only thing i did wrong was i switched one s and r configuration on only one part of only one problem. other than that, i'm pretty confident.

steve, jaime, cathy, and i went to physics lecture, which was filled with very neat demonstrations (ball bearings!), much focus on aurora borealis (ahhh, childhood memories), and annoying exclamations from "her" as usual ("ooo, spirals! like curly hair! such pretty ringlets...).

after that, we walked to the anime store so jaime could buy the ddr 5th, max, and max2 soundtracks for his brother (which he shall rip for me *^_^*). on the way, steve discovered two white hairs on my head. not even pale, but blazingly, pure white. i promptly yanked them out, which i know will cause twice as many to grow, according to many old wives, but i just couldn't help it. they looked so weird against my dark hair. *shrugs* when we got to kawaii anime, i gave into the temptation and bought two coca cola final fantasy figures still in their sealed packages for $3 a piece. lo and behold, though the figures within were random and the packages opaque so i had no clue which ones i was getting, i somehow managed to get a cactuar (which steve had predicted: "what if you get one of those cactus dudes? that wouldn't be great." "are you kidding? cactuars are awesome!" "... okaaaay.") and *trumpet fanfare* the crystal rinoa figure. *pets them both* i's very pleased.

we wandered for a while then, stopping in an apple store and an office max, then jaime and i went to blockbuster to get movies for our kubrick marathon tonight. we also stopped at trader joe's and got some good food, chai mix, hansen's soda, and ginger altoids. *bounce bounce* 'ummins.

so here i am now, stomach full, hair an uninterrupted dark shade, figures obtained, and movies rented. we've seen dr. strangelove; still clockwork orange, 2001, eyes wide shut, and the shining to go! *skips away*
