stream of consciousness

i opened my site again. it's not completely done, but hopefully it will be soon.

i'm also working on a squall and rinoa shrine, as well as a fanlisting that i will not name here so that no one else claims it. hee.

i saw fahrenheit 9/11 yesterday with momie. we both cried quite a bit (lila, oh my goodness...), gasped in horror, shook our heads in disgust, and laughed outright at bush's idiocy. mom thinks that all americans should have to see it before they can vote. i definitely agree.

we went grocery shopping yesterday and stocked up on absolutely everything. it was really fun, picking out food and such. i liked being all domestic for a bit.

mom decided it was time for me to retire my floaties with honor, so she got me two cheapy pairs of sandals to do until i can get new floaties. one pair has clear plastic straps and is all canary yellow, and the other has a white base with blue and yellow stripes on the side and pastel blue terrycloth straps. i lurv them muchly.

at trader joe's, we bought some of that spanish cheese that jaime and i ate on the night of good snackins. mom now loves it as much as i do, and we think joe will too once he tries it.

odie attempted to escape yesterday. he pulled away a bunch of the duct tape securing the plexiglass and kept sticking his head through the little slit he'd opened. i was afraid of coming home to an escaped or, even worse, a strangled ferret, so the poor babies got shut in their cage until we could buy more tape. now it's all secured again, as well as one plastic runner is taped over the bit of carpet they love to dig. i feel much better.

i talked to jaime for a long time last night, until almost 2am his time. it was really nice. i don't think we've had a long call like that for a while, maybe ever, and i had so much to talk about! mom started siding with him in our mock arguments, and when i asked her if she actually likes him now, she responded that he makes me smile, so that's good enough for her. that itself made me smile.

i watched two episodes of south park, one of the graham norton effect, and two of reno 911 before i fell asleep last night. comedy rules my world, though not as much so as cartoons.

and finally, speaking of cartoons, i got mom to agree to watch some sealab 2021 with me. so, i'm gonna get some lunch, and then go to the bottom of the sea with momie. it'll be fun; i know it. *grins*
