Just found out Brawl save files are copy-protected. After unlocking all but two characters and completing SSE and a bunch of events (including that fucking safety capsule on Norfair one that took me foreeeeeeever earlier) on Mary's Wii in the living room instead of my own.

Goddamnit.

Not to mention that my thumb hurts from crocheting worsted yarn tightly with an F hook, but that's really my own damn fault.

sorry baby doll - i know how you hate to repeat games (oooh - or maybe you love to repeat games!!) Try to look at it positively. There is a computer game here at work called Jewel Quest 3 - I have been working on unlocking levels a little at a time for the past several months. I got to 89% done - it took alot of time. Last week Blane's 6 year old daughter, cecelia came in and deleted my game. I do not have the heart to start all over again. There was one particular level that took me 8 days - it was very hard. (and you know I am pretty good at games) sigh!

Bzuh! I'd be in full-on destroy mode if I lost that much work! I mean, I was super duper pissed when my one FFVIII save got corrupted, and I had about two dozen others to fall back on. Okay, okay, I'll restart Brawl, you restart Jewel Quest 3, and we'll check in with each other for encouragement. :D At least Pit's unlocked at the beginning so I can use my main immediately, right?

P.S. Oh, and the crocheting I mentioned - Squall and Rinoa dolls. I'm not even done with one head yet, but they'll get there eventually!

It will be a while before the dolls exist, alas. I am a very very very slow and sporadic crocheter.

D'awww, he's adorable. Not as adorable as Near, though! Those freaky genius kids with their social issues, and their mental instability, and their emotional inbalances...

We restarted! Jaime's been playing with me, and we logged in three hours or so last night. Making some progress, going decently. I'm still angry I have to redo the events and everything, but oh well, I guess. Stupid Nintendo. *kick*

I *am* nervous, actually. You know me. I told Jaime I don't want to go. I will, of course, but I really don't want to. Of course, Jaime's not too sympathetic to my anxiety about an appointment and x-rays. A little bit, but not much. The boy's a bit calloused at this point, methinks. Can't really blame him.

By the by, he got an infusion today, and at the end, when his saline ran out and the pump turned off so there wasn't anything pumping into his body, some of his blood came back into the line. It was pretty bitching. The nurse commented that he must have a strong heart, pumping that blood right on out there like that. First time that's happened - kinda cool stuff.
