We're at Moffitt now, awaiting the start of treatment. Jaime's port's accessed and everything, but he has to get blood tests again for safety and four hours of baking soda to elevate his pH, as the methotrexate is acidic. He'll likely get the 24 hour infusion started early in the morning tomorrow... err, today, I guess. Not that that's the only thing he'll get, but it's the first step, so that's all I'm looking towards now.

Oh yeah, and it's his birthday. Happy 24th, Mayam!

Expect sappiness later, when I'm less sleeeeeeeepy.
