Writer's Block: The X-Files Birthday

Oooh, I have three big favorites:
  • The Post-Modern Prometheus Black and white, with a deformed "creature" that loves Cher. The whole story of that one just really touched me.
  • Arcadia The one Jaime mentioned where Mulder and Scully pretend to be married to investigate in a closed community. Very funny, and very get me a sandwich, woman!
  • Bad Blood Probably that funniest episode out of the whole series. Vampires, hicktown sheriffs, and retellings from both Mulder and Scully's perspectives - what's not to love?

    Speaking of shows I love...
    TV: ... you'd better make damn sure they're the same color as you are!
    Me (from the other room): Cartman's Silly Hate Crime?!
    Jaime: ... Yeah.

    I may know South Park too well.

    Oh, and yesterday, in 1999, FFVIII came out. Hooray! Celebration!

    In other news, wisdom tooth = fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Ow.

    Oh come on, Arcadia is hilarious, but it's soooo bad! Garbage monster! It looks like it came out of Fraggle Rock xD;

    I completely approve of PMP and Bad Blood though ♥ If I had to choose a favourite, I'm almost 100% sure it'd be Paper Hearts. Though there are quite a bunch I adore to death, like Redux II, One Breath, The Unnatural, Pusher, Folie à Deux, Ice... and a dozen more, lol.

    And holy crap, 15 years. I feel old.

    Arcadia's definitely not one to take seriously. XD The plot's pretty eh, but I adore the Mulder/Scully interaction so much that the whole episode just takes on a happy sheen for me.

    Ooo, Paper Hearts. That one makes me all shivery. The crimes creep me out, but the episode is so well done. I almost said Ice as well. And Small Potatoes, Field Trip, Piper Maru, Monday, Memento Mori, all the stuff with Max Fenig, Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose... yeah, there's a lot to love.
