rinnia: (thanky dance)
i walked into the concert an hour early so that i'd have time to get a t-shirt before the opening act took the stage. while waiting in line with my mother, i heard a guy working near the end of the booth yell that the first 50 people to buy the opening act's cd would get a pass to meet them. well, long story short,

i met thirty seconds to mars!

i got their cd for only $10, then met them and got their autographs to boot! jared leto's such a cutie. *^_^*

main act was incubus, one of my favorite bands alongside hoobastank, who i saw in concert earlier this summer, and silverchair. brandon boyd dancing around shirtless singing "the warmth" will be in my dreams tonight. he sounded beautiful, just like off of the cds. they played most of my favorite songs by them, a lot more from "make yourself" than i had expected to hear on the "morning view" tour, but that works great because i like that cd better anyway. the light show was awesome, complete with a huge screen at the back on which they showed the band and strange interpretive films for certain songs.

all in all, it rocked.

i am quite the happy rinny.
