about a year ago, my boyfriend then cheated on me, then dumped me because i wasn't putting out. he didn't say it that way, of course, but that's what it was. my mom comforted me, telling me that he would get his little cheat buddy and new girlfriend pregnant before he graduated and would have to marry her, thus wasting any chances at college and basically ruining his life. well, my best friend from alaska, which is where this all took place, called me today to tell me the latest news around my old school there.

the girl's baby is due in january and they're getting married in march.

my best friend, the old boyfriend, and i are all seniors this year, meaning that he will indeed be a daddy before he's out of high school and will have to work right after graduation to support his wife and child, leaving no time for any form of college.

needless to say, momie (pronounced moh-mee, my form of address for mom), chrissy-chan (my best friend and soul-sissy), and lop (my love), are all quite amused.

as am i. *^_^*

ahh, revenge is sweet. especially when it comes naturally.

for four simple reasons:
#1 - i have been promoted from senior reporter in the school newpaper to also being an editorial cartoonist and opinion editor.

#3 - well, this is supposed to be confidential until the 18th for media purposes, but i'm allowed to tell my family... you guys count as family, right? right. i'm a national merit scholar semifinalist! w00t! i scored a 225 on my psats, qualifying me for this honor. *sniffles* i's so happy! yaya!
