gray skies are gonna clear up...

feeling a lot better today. talked with lophatjello both last night during his layover and once he was home and this morning before he left for work. it still hurts, and the little hollow feeling is back again, but i love him and i know he loves me back. that's comfort, however small. all i have to do is wait; time's the only real catch. someday, the separation will be over and then... it will have been worth it. *smiles*

on another note, a couple days before he left, he, mom, erik, and i went to the pet store and i bought a ferret. her name is stitch, and she's the cutest little critter. she loves her hammock, as most ferrets do from what i've heard, and attacks this stuffed parrot doll with such fervor... *squees!* i still miss my spunky, and a ferret is certainly different from a tarantula, but stitch's great. *cuddles*

oh, and erik got hamsters for christmas: hamtaro and magus. magus had babies last week. eleven of them. yikes.

so we went from having no pets to owning fourteen. *grins* i love animals.
