rinnia: (dead)
I'm in the Avery House video for rotation this year - 24-themed. Being the informant, I, of course, get offed by the end, and my grand death scene was filmed on Sunday. They had a mattress handy for me so I wouldn't be falling straight onto the asphalt, but after one fall, I realized that it didn't provide too much cushioning. My head snapped back pretty hard on that first take, but being the theatre spaz I am, I sucked it up and kept going... for about twelve more takes, falling in every one. I felt a little shaken up after it all, but none too worse for the wear, so I continued on my merry way with nary a care.

Upon waking up this morning, I found my neck, back, and abs absolutely screaming in agony. Moving at all elicited tiny whimpers, and even laying without large quantities of head support caused great discomfort. I used my Bollywood bath bomb for a spicy hot soak, and that helped some, but didn't solve the problem. Well, not that I expected it would, but still. Jaime's been feeding me Motrin to keep me moving, and while it's helped, even that hasn't taken the edge off the pain. My back feels almost entirely better now, and my abs felt good earlier (though the soreness is returning now), but my neck's been a constant ache all day.

Hopefully it'll feel better in the morning. I'm still up now because my incapacitated state prevented me from finishing my SURF reports earlier, and they're kinda due tomorrow if I want to get paid. Sooo... there's that.

Ah well. At least I'll be getting paid. Money is always nice, especially when a wonky fridge made you throw out a hundred dollars worth of food. *weeps just a little*

On a good note? I have plans for future happiness - business ideas, in a sense. Not science-y at all, but something cute I could indulge in on the side. Jaime's being all shades of supportive, and so I think it might actually come to fruition. One of my crazy schemes actually being brought to life - how neat would that be?

Anyway. Back to the writing, so I can sent these reports off and go to bed, in desire of energy restoration and neck pain alleviation. Here's hoping.

Done! I've sent off my documents. Now, I just have to get them signed tomorrow, turn them in, and paycheckin' goodness is mine! Phew.

While I was writing, I got messaged by thischarminghat. I feel so special. ;p

And now, the neck pain is growing, as is the lethargy, so I will go to bed. *glances at the clock* Gotta be to work at 10am. Yeah... bed's probably a good idea.
