I have to say, I give him credit for taking the time and putting his phone number on a letter to a stranger. It's a wasted effort on me, as I'm preeeeeetty secure in my atheism, but still. Kudos on the attempt.

I was feeling the need for some RuPaul last night, so I fired up Netflix and started the Season 3 casting extravaganza, which I've never actually watched before. During the Pit Crew auditions (probably NSFW), I noticed an oddly familiar face:

Check out 1:20. Is it just me or is that Alexander also this Alexander? Color me intrigued.

Ate some soba, drank some black lager, and watched the Mythbusters' Alaska special. Feeling slightly... homesick? Is it still homesick if it's wanting to visit where you spent more than half of your life thus far but haven't been to in almost ten years? Anyway, whatever that feeling would be. I'm that.

On the plus side, Adam's reaction to the yeti was hilarious and adorable at the same time.

Also, I spent way too much money today. Granted, it was all on awesome stuff and I think the only thing I purchased full price was glow-in-the-dark embroidery floss for a staggering $2.50, but I'm still rocking the guilt. Not buyer's remorse. I don't regret obtaining these objects. I will wear the jeans and play the game and craft with the beads and... cuddle the unicorn pillow pet... I just have this lingering mental block when it comes to spending money on myself. Like I'm not worth it, even though I've done so much therapy to work on that. Damn.

Is it bad that, instead of finishing my overdue and 75% finished kurt_disney fic or working on my originalbigbang, I want to start a Puck/Kurt fic that's mostly about them playing video games?

Jaime and I just tried to walk up to the Reitz Union, but we were stopped by a cop and told that the whole area is closed. Confused, we wandered away and ate/studied outside NEB. Afterwards, upon arriving back at my desk, I decided to check out the UF website just in case and found this.

Huh. How about that.

Welp, back to studying, I guess! Cancer Bio midterm and dental appointment tomorrow, Physiology midterm and group meeting on Wednesday - stressed tired slightly ill busy girl, busy girl.

In the past week, Jaime and I have watched all three series of The Mighty Boosh. If you haven't seen it, you really ought to. It's hi-lar-ious, plus it has bitchin' songs, freaky animation, and adorable androgyny. And (warning: the following link is pretty spoilery) it is an ENDLESS well of slash potential. Of course, the most important part is that it's one of the funniest things I've watched in a long time. The rest of the stuff is just gravy.

My internal voice has developed a British accent. Fuck.

I cannot count the number of times Jaime and I have watched this video in the past couple days. Woo!

We saw a guy texting while riding his bike with no helmet, on the street, against traffic. I don't understand people.
